| Getting Registered and getting really going.... |

We now have access to the Chesley gym for Tuesday and/or Thursday for practices. My plan is to use Tuesdays and some Thursdays until Big Bruce starts January 11, then we will use Thursdays and some Saturdays. Plan is to maximize practice time especially as tournaments near. We could still round our number of players out with up to two more players (born 1993 or later). We have nine players and an additional one or two would be great. Goal is for all players to develop as much as possible and this requires that all players play as much as possible, both in practice and in tournament play.
This week I would like to use Tuesday to get registrations information and an initial outlay of $300 per player. This will enable me to register each of you, plan for uniforms (get sizes), pay entry fees for first set of tournaments, and pay for balls and carts.
Practice will focus on some elements we worked on with Coach Aaron McGregor, including arm swing, attack/offensive serving, effective 2 and 3 man blocking, team defence and team passing. Of course along with any of that is plenty of hitting, so bring an extra shirt and lots of water, we will work hard for up to two hours.
Of course this only works if people can make it, please let me know if Tuesday works (7:00 or 7:30).
